For the next two hours they talked as if they were the best of friends. Perhaps Alexa was the only true friend that Katti had. The only one that was totally honest with her and still made her feel there was something special in their friendship. The gentle way Alexa spoke to her. The way she always knew what to say in times of need. Before she has hung up Alexa had made Katti promise to come for a visit to Michigan that weekend. Katti didn't really know how it happened, but when Alexa asked her to come it was as if she couldn't refuse. And more so she was glad to be going. Katti was looking forward to meeting the girl behind the voice and the screen. The Angel of IRC she was called. Somehow Katti had a feeling she would  not be disappointed that Alexa was truly AnAngel.

Friday morning came and Katti was excited, more than she thought possible. By mid-afternoon she had finished all her work, left a message for Donna and was in her vehicle heading toward Michigan. A 4 hour ride possibly 5 no more Alexa had told her. Giving directions to meet her in the small town where she lived. From there Alexa would escort Katti to her farm just outside Lansing. Katti admired Alexa a lot when it came to determination. After all they were close to the same age. Alexa seemed so strong perhaps some of it would rub off on Katti, she sure hoped so.

The day was warm and the sights along the way caused Katti's mind to wander. Her thought's turned to Joel. Sweet Joel the love of her life. How she use to love to just get in the car with him and go on afternoon drives to the country. Sometimes picnic in the park or walk along a beach they came upon. Just the little things in life seemed so much and even more so now that they were no longer there. Katti was thinking about the time they decided to go skinny dipping. Joel just parked the car along a deserted section of lake Michigans beaches, go out and started talking off his clothes. Within seconds he was totally nude. Katti was laughing so hard.

"Come on you fool. You better get back in here before someone see's you"

"You better come and get me" he cooed fromt he shore of the water.

"Joel come on now" Katti laughed.

"Girl you better get them clothes off and get in here with me right now or I will never come out. I will just freeze in here"

Katti got out of the car looked around, then took off her blouse, smiling she looked at Joel.

"More than that girl. I want to see all of you"

Joel jumped into the cold waves of the lake. Katti took off her bra, then her jeans....and panties while kicking her shoes to the side of the car. Joel let out a scream.

"God Damn girl you are georgous get in here....and get me warm I am freezing"

Laughing Katti took off running into the waves of the shores waters into Joel's arms. He wrapped his arms around her and took her mouth so savagously Katti could bearly breath. Her arms wrapped around his neck and the shivering of her body seemed to cease in his warmth. He held her and sumerged into the water covering both their heads.  Picking up his wife and carrying her to the shore of the beach...he laid her down and right there in the afternoon sun he made love to her. Sweetly and gently until both their bodys were dry. In no hurry to get up and leave he held her there in his arms. Talking about the future. Smiling Katti reminded him he was a respected attorney and that to be caught there in the nude would cause a scandle. Joel just remarked.

"Ahhhh but what a better way to go than in the arms of the most beautiful woman in the world which just happens to be my wife"

Leaning over kissing her again and again. Katti could still feel the soft flesh of his lips on her's. Ohhhh how she missed him. God was not fair, not at all. Katti was crossing the border into Michigan. Her thoughts turned to Alexa and the weekend. What would they do, what would they talk about. Why had Alexa been so generous to envite her. It all seemed so strange, yet felt so comfortable. A couple of hours later Katti arrived in the little town of Howell. A quaint little place it reminded her somehow of Alexa. Even though they had never met it just seemed the kind of place you would find an angel living in. A quite place with not much going on it it. A kind of one horse town as they say. The buildings all perfectally stationed as if standing back in time. The old court house as it stood 200 years ago. Even the houses in the town were turn of the century homes. Restored to perfection. If you took away the automobiles and the electricty you might really think you were back in time. The town movie theatrer was even the original. A two story advertising movies for $.50. Driving down GrandRiver passing the town on the outskirts the only sign of modern times was a small strip mall. Several small shops and a large Wallmart ajacined to the end of it. There was also a toco bell and McDonalds in the Mall. Katti laughed to herself. Coming from Chicago the Ultra Adventure into Shopping this was really cute. Yet it somehow fitted Alexa she thought.

Parked there, in the parking lot of wallmart she sat, waiting for Alexa to show up. She watched as the white jeep cherokee rolled down the street and turned into the parking area. Katti told Alexa what she would be driving. Alexa pulled up next to it, rolled down the window.

"I see you found your way, how was the drive?"

"Yes directions were great, the drive was nice" smiling she continued. "Lot's of food for thought.

Smiling Alexa said" "follow me back to my place"

Driving out of the parking lot and out of town Katti couldn't help but smile. She didn't know why. The face, the smile perhaps, she just felt wonderful that she was here with this woman now. Somehow nothing would ever be the same again.
