(SRI GURU NANAK SAT SANG SABHA)

The Sabha was registered on 26 Jun 1953 through the efforts of Sardar Hardial Singh Bajaj, who could be said to be its founder.  At first  the operation of the Gurdwara was at 209 Onan Road. Later, an old bungalow was purchased at 17 Wilkinson Road at a cost of $30,000. The adjoining  bungalow  was  also   purchased  subsequently.  In 1969,  one of the bungalows was demolished  and a new  Gurdwara  was constructed at a cost of $600,000. The marble Paalki, specially ordered from India was the first of its kind in Singapore.
