The Kansas Administrators Club is an organization that has its genesis over 57 years ago. It is steeped with tradition and has stringent qualifications for membership.
Traditionally, the organization has conducted its annual meeting at 6:30 on the Wednesday evening of the week of the United School Administrators of Kansas Convention.
The Kansas Administrators Club can elect a maximum of 15 new members each year. If more than 15 candidates are nominated for membership, selection is made by ballot of the members. When fewer than 15 candidates are nominated, negative vote procedures by mail or telephone to the president become in effect.
Candidates for membership must have a minimum of a Master's Degree and be currently occupying an educational administration position. Individuals considered for nomination should be educational leaders and be respected within the education community.
It has been traditionally accepted that the member nominating a candidate for membership, pay for the meal of the candidate and introduce them to the membership-at-large during the annual meeting.
Annual membership dues for the Kansas Administrators Club are $5.00. Members are dropped from membership rolls for nonpayment of dues for two consecutive years.
There are no dues required from retired members.
