well the republicans and democrats aint really that they are socialists

and the libertarians even though we lose we win

In Fairness, There Are Some Negatives, Tooo

The primary negative is that you probably won't win. But won't win that can be a relief, too. I don't really care much for the idea of running to win. The job only pays $19,000 a year, but it would be worth a cut in pay to sit there and vote no every day.

By losing, we can still "win" by bending the debate and pulling the other candidates, and voters, toward freedom's ideas.

I like to use the example of the Socialists back in 1928.

They bent the debate in America for the next 50 years, but they never won a major election. About half the Socialist platform became part of the New Deal in the 1930s, and most of the rest became part of the Great Society of the 1960s.

By analogy, in my opinion, think the Libertarian Party can be a prime influence on 21st century politics, whether we win or not.
