The title on on the Jan 15, 99 Sat Arizona Republic said
"Pay up or lose Cards"
I think its about time that Phoenix lose the Cards. I dont want the government to steal any more of my hard earned money and give it to Bill Bidwell.
Im sick of government crooks stealing my tax dollars and giving them to Jerry Colangeo or Bill Bidwell. I think you elected officals like to call this form of theft by a policitally correct name of corporate wellfare. But theft is theft by any name.
Im still angry because the City of Phoenix stole my tax dollars 10/15 years ago and gave them to Jerry Colangelo to build his Phoenix Suns a new stadium at my expense. Despite the fact that polls shows the public was 90% against the stadium.
I was elited when Phoenix Voters passed a bill that handcuffed City of Phoenix officals and forced them to get voter apporval before building any projects for Jerry Colangelo.
And I was angry when the Arizona Legislator, and now governor Jane Hull because they knew Phoenix could not steal our tax dollars to build Jerry Colangela a baseball stadium passed a special law that allowed Maricopa County elected officials to steal our tax dollars and build Jerry C his ballpark.
Im still angry and hatefull toward the Maricopa County Supervisors because they implemented the state law that allowed them to steal hundreds of millions of dollars from Maricopa County Taxpayers to build Jerry Collangelo his baseball park. Despite the fact that the polls showed voters were 80 to 90 percent against the ballpark.
And if governor hull and state legislator turn into crooks and steal another $100 to $500 million of my tax dollars and give it to Bill Bidwell for a football stadium I certainlly will be angery and hatefull toward you for the 20 years just as I would be toward any other criminal that stole my hard earned money.
Im angry now because everytime I rent a car I have to pay $2.50 a day baseball tax. You should remove the tax totally, not jack up the theft rate to a 3% so you can give Bill Bidwell a share of my hard earned money.
Currently the tourist business in slowing down. You dont need to slow it down more by jacking up the hotel tax by 10 percent from 5% to 5.5% to give Bill Bidwell a share of my relatives income when they visit me from Chicago.
And all the other schemes talked about to raise money to build Bill Bidwell a stadium are just politically correct names for a proposed theft to steal the publics money and give it to Bill Bidwell.
larry
