It should be pointed out that this strangeness (end of the world, apocalyptic, bible-thumping)has been a part of the American landscape for a long time. It's difficult to blame on the water because it pops up in so many different places at so many times in our history. In 1844 (or so) there was the "Great Disappointment" from which some cult emerged when the world didn't end. Also note how each of the presidential contender's fav guy is Jesus the Christ. This kind of discourse should immediately disqualify the professor from ever holding any public office down to and including Dog Catcher. "I believe.....I believe!" Nuts.....I believe I'll have another glass of wine. --
