Textures in PSP 6

TEX files can be used in PSP 6 both as paper textures and as textures for use with the Texture Effect. To install TEX files in PSP 6, simply copy the files to the Textures subfolder of your PSP 6 folder.

Installing Paper Textures in PSP 5

To install the textures available here, unzip the archived textures and copy the TEX files to the Papers folder in your PSP 5 program folder. In that folder you'll find a file called PaperNam.idx. Make a backup copy of this file and then edit the original file. For the new texture, enter two new lines in the file. The two lines should be of this form:

PaperName
PName.TEX

Where "PaperName" is the name you want to appear in the Paper Textures drop down list in the Control Palette, and "PName.TEX" is the name of the texture file. For example, if you have a texture file called Wheat.TEX and you want that texture to appear in the list as Waving Wheat, you'd enter the following two lines in PaperNam.idx:

Waving Wheat
Wheat.TEX
