Introduction

The Dalnet #SPM channel is founded by yours truly on the 28th of August, 1997.
The main objective of this channel is to provide a medium for SPMers (SPM Candidates)
from all over Malaysia to discuss about useful tips in order to tackle the SPM examination.
Since then, a number of discussion sessions have been made with moderations from the SOPs
and AOPs of the channel. They are all SPMers for the year 1997.

This site's main purpose is to provide this medium for future SPMers. Past users of this
channel will be listed on this site (with the consent of the person him/herself on the alumni page).
Applications for future moderators (AOPs and SOPs) can be made through this homepage.

Please understand that this channel is not affiliated with the Kementerian Pendidikan
Malaysia (The Education Department). Furthermore, we do not generate any income
through this channel. We are making all these to help SPMers and to exploit the usability
of the Internet Relay Chat (esp. to make known to people that IRC is not just for fun) as the
first reasons for creating the internet is for educational purposes.

I do hope that the tradition of this channel will continue for a very long time.
