World Wide Punk: is yet another, but is absolutely huge, and where I'd go to find a punk rock link.
Dischord Records: is one of the oldest punk rock labels, and their website is real nice too.
Ebullition Records: quite often have what I want and are super reliable and, shit you know the rest, just go there already.
Old Glory Records: is one of the best punk rock distros that I've ever dealt with.
Tim Yohannon: was the man behind MRR. See testimonials tohim after he died. Tim was in my opinion one of the most important people in punk rock
How to put out a DIY record: is a cool article that tells you all about how to put out a record. It includes a roundtable interview with Chris Dodge of Slap A Ham and several others (that I've forgotten about).
More info: on how to release a record courtesy of Clean Plate Records.
Slap A Ham Records: are the original power violence label. That's all you need to know.
Alternative Tentacles: have a beautiful site, that I thought would have more historical content (maybe I just didn't find it), but was nice to look at and very functional. I would like to see more political content as well.
Born Against: were an amazing band. This site doesn't really do them justice.
FLEX - US Punk & Hardcore Discography: is exactly what the internet, and web pages should be all about. The history of an idea; documentation of a subculture. If I had time and my way in the world, this site would be for worldwide punk rock, cross referenced with pictures, sound samples and all the other multimedia bullshit that could be done. I think I might try to start work on that now...
Big Boys: were an amazing Austin punk rock pioneers. I'm surprised and a little disappointed that there is only one site dedicated to them out there.
Seein' Red: while not exactly along the same lines as I politically, Seein' Red are a band that are a rarity these days. They play punk rock/hardcore the way it should be played, with emotion and fire and most importantly politics.
Clash Photo Rockers.: a really nice photo gallery of the Clash.
Dicks/Gary Floyd Webpage: in addition to the Big Boys, the Dicks are one of my all time favourites.
Gauze: this site is in Japanese, but it has Real Audio links to most of Gauze's songs.
G.I.S.M. - Punks is Hippies: if Gauze is up there, GISM should be too. "Endless Blockades Of The Pussyfooter" was the first song I ever heard by a Japanese hardcore band. Insanity on a scale that can't be measured.
Los Crudos: one of, if not the most, essential punk/hardcore band of the 90's.
the red scare: one of my current favourite bands, who may have broken up.
submission hold: the most political band in Canada, and I don't mean that as a put down.
Book Your Own Fuckin' Life:is on-line and isn't the resource it once was, it at least is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for free to anyone who needs it.
Commode Hardcore: is the label that put out the Swallowing Shit 7" records, and are trying to bolster the dying punk rock ethic of "community" through their site. A noble effort and something I'd like to think Diet Society can do as well.
Mac Fontoholx Site: is a Mac, and begrudgingly PC, shareware and free font site. In my opinion, the best.
Mike Brantley's Super 8 Site: is where I've gotten a lot of my Super 8 information from. One of the few Super 8 film sites around (I thought that there would be more).
sound of print: is a great font foundry, whose Poloroid 22 was used liberally throughout Diet Society #8.
®TM-ARK:more art "terrorists" (these folks changed the talking Barbie dolls, remember that?)
Adbusters: a damn fine site. Go to it now!!
Freespeech.org: Doesn't the name say it all? Never mind the fact that I know a few people that are putting their sites up here.
