 Who Are We?

We are a group of parents and educators interested in providing our children with an exciting and creative educational experience. Our emphasis is on language, humanistic values, and ethnicity, incorporating philosophies of all segments of the Jewish community.  We offer dedicated, knowledgeable teachers, actively involved parents, lively language instruction, and interesting reading materials.

We focus on learning about Jewish culture, history, and religion by studying age-appropriate versions of classic Jewish texts,  Our goal is for students to learn values and ethics for today based on our rich textual tradition.

Our students learn Hebrew through conversation.  Whole language skills are developed--reading and writing are coordinated with knowledge of conversational Hebrew.  Language skills are integrated with Judaic studies as much as possible.  Our goal is for students to learn Hebrew as a living language, as well as the ancient language of the Torah and of traditional prayer.

Our students study in small classes.  Judaics classes are organized by grade, Hebrew classes are organized by level.  Our students learn about Jewish holidays through celebration during our daily school-wide assemblies where students, parents, and teachers join in song, dance, and prayer.
