Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Classmates!
It seems my casual statement of perhaps writing up a Holiday Greeting to you guys is to become a reality (Thanks, Sharon! Ha!). I admit, I'm fascinated by the idea that we all can retain a closer and timelier contact through email and our website (Thanks so much, Judy!).

While Kay and I have six grandchildren, the oldest daughter's three children are all in college and have; therefore, already passed through the "Christmas Years." The youngest daughter, however, has three that are perfect targets for experiencing this holiday season. They live less than a mile away, which allows Mamaw and Papaw Anderson to participate in their awareness of the sights and sounds of the upcoming winter happenings. Big Sister is 3½ and her identical twin brothers are 10 months. Julia knows all about Santa Clause (I made the mistake the other day of saying Santa brings presents on Christmas, and was told, in no uncertain terms, that no, he brings the presents Christmas EVE, Papaw! She loves dressing up, pretend-shopping, and putting on makeup. She is disappointed that they aren't going to have a Christmas tree this year (like last year!), not understanding that a tree would have NO CHANCE with the two boys crawling all over the place! Daddy has decorated the outside of the house with lots of lights, deer, a Christmas tree and Santa himself  ~  plus all three of them love to go riding around looking at the lights on other homes.

Ill be taking bunches of pictures as the season unwinds. I'll send along to Judy a couple of shots of the kids. I hope that all of you have a wonderful holiday. Please write in to Judy, telling us about you and your family! I look forward to hearing/seeing you all!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!   ~  Ted Anderson

PS: The boys are Conner and Kyle. In the picture with just the two of them, they are practicing for the upcoming "New & Improved" Three Stooges movie.

Hello Classmates, Larry and I would like to wish you and your families the Merriest Chriistmas ever and the Happiest of New Years. We also wish you great health and good fortune. Hope to hear from you all through the web site or see you soon. Love to you all  ~ Patti and Larry Wood

Greetings!  Merry Christmas ~ Happy Hanukah ~ Happy Kawanza!  Remember the deep, old snows of Christmas when we were students? Seems that now global warmings have done away with them. But, maybe, if we wish for it hard enough, Christmas will be white this year. Stay well, fair winds ... ~ Judy Fowler Robbins

The winter months are just ahead.
My bones ache awaiting in dread.
Yet the child inside me jumps with glee,
to see the lights upon our Christmas tree.
Our green tree is Victorian, we have a white one too.
Our white tree is adorned with red, white and blue.
Standing in silent attention, a reminder day by day,
to pray for our loved ones in harms way.
Today, dear classmates, my thoughts are with you.
Hoping all your Christmas wishes come true.
I wish you good health this Holiday Season.
My prayer is we never forget the reason. ~  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ~ Sharon Williams

Wishing all of you a healthy, special Christmas. God has been so good to all of us. Christmas is a great time to share His love with all the people who, in some way, have touched your life -- also your heart. What a grand way to share with each of you. Hope you are blessed to be with your families; to look into the eyes of those precious grandchildren, to feel those hugs, and to be an influence in their lives. What a blessing.
~  Merry Christmas,  Jerry and Fran Barnett

  Dear Class Mates,

The holiday season is a special time of year for Jenny Sue and I. This Christmas Eve, we celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary -- seems like only yesterday that I first saw Jenny Sue walk across study hall. She got my attention and has had it ever since. During the holidays, we hang out with our family in the flesh and our Church family -- laughing, playing, and eating -- dieting comes next month. We are headed to the Florida Keys in January to camp, kayak, snorkel, and watch sunsets.  Life is good.

I pray that life is good for you, also. God bless you. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
        ~  Be Blessed, Don Whetstine
