   SUZANNE BROWN EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD: The Society gave the first Annual Award in March 1998 in honor of Dr. Suzanne Brown’s dedication to promoting effective teaching in Higher Education in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The first award went to Dr. Mary Ann Cessna of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
