Primary mission of the Mil Mi-24 "Hind" is a killing of tanks, armoured personnel carriers and other small-size hardened targets. to accomplish its mission, the "Hind" can carry following armaments: anti-tank missiles, rockets and a Gatling gun. In addition, various types of cannon, machine gun and grenade launcher pods and conventional or container bombs can be carried under the four stub wing pylons. Moreover, the cargo cabin of "Hind" is able to accomodate up to eight fully equipped troops.
