A Psalm of Thanks

Majestic Father, I stand in awe of you
Never imagining that anyone could love me so
Your love defies reason, human reason that is
There is nothing in me to warrant it
Yet it exists, free and full

Mighty Lord, you have reached down and touched my soul
In my search to be loved, you have loved me
In my search to be needed, you have needed me to do your will
You have given a purpose to my days, A meaning to my life
To live now for you is a joy unimaginable

Jehovah, you rescued me when I was not deserving
And poured out your grace on my life
You have sacrificed your best for the purchase of my soul
And I am humbled

Lord, you are glory and strength, wisdom and stature
Creation glorifies you by it's very existence
And teaches us of your love and wisdom

Father, you have drawn me to your bosom
And in your love I am secure
I'm able to live my life for you, and to die to myself
With a humble heart I thank you
