About us:
NewMoonFire is a TEACHING coven, with outer and inner court. We celebrate the Eight Sabbats and hold rituals on the Full Moon (but not the New Moon at this point). We’re a fairly new coven to Tucson, and growing rapidly. We are extremely diverse in theology and backgrounds. Although we practice and teach a Traditional form of Wicca, we have also reviewed other practices (Shamanic, Druid paths, Atheism, the teachings of Buddha, and some “how-to’s” of the Solitaire Way). We have taken on Prison Ministries for inmates who seek teachings and guidance and we try to be as active in our local community as our busy lives will allow.

Goals:
To worship dual Deity and celebrate life in all it’s manifestations; to have others of a like mind with whom we can accomplish this and be as a “family”; to pass on the knowledge and beauty of Wicca to those who seek us; to honour those who have walked this path before us; to make every attempt to restore the dignity and purity to Nature which mankind has destroyed; to learn to laugh again with child-like wonder even within the reverence of respectful worship; to help educate the public and remove the stereo-typical image of WitchCraft wherever we find it.
