Dear friends,
Please continue to pray for Russian economy. In many hospitals, orphanages, prisons even in some military units that are financed by the government, the financial situation is just catastrophic. There is no clothing, no medical supply, in many cases there is no good food (only bread and potatoes). In many orphanages orphans receive only a small piece of soap as a birthday present... No toothpaste, no shampoo...
Truly, we are taking for granted things we own.
We are sending some clothing to couple of orphanages but there are dozens of them in each large Russian city and surrounding areas...
Nevertheless, God's Holy Spirit is working here and we are closer to the Revival than ever before!
Many brothers and sisters in prisons were very thankful for vitamins and tea we sent them. Most of them didn't see any vitamins for years.
Our brother Igor continues to work on the difficult mission field in Uzbekistan- Central Asia's Muslim republic. He organized a team of 8 people (some of them are former Muslims) and they are evangelizing even despite evangelism is strictly prohibited in Uzbekistan. Please continue to pray for this mission.
To our joy January, 1999 was the beginning of anti-abortion ministry. We were enabled by God's grace to visit 3 public schools and speak to almost 150 students about abortions and moreover- preach the Gospel and distribute Bibles! Praise the Lord! This is great because officially public schools are closed for preaching.
Now we have plans to start youth ministry trying to help young people to meet Jesus. Would you please join us in prayer for this need as well as for continuation of anti-abortion ministry and evangelism in the hospital.
