RUSSIAN MINISTRY NEWS LETTER: MARCH 2000
Dear Friends,
Christian greetings from Moscow!
Thank you for all your prayers for my father. Finally he is better after
two months in the hospital (most of it in the intensive care department).
His body temperature is close to normal, although he is extremely weak and
still have an open fistula in his stomach.
I am absolutely convinced that if not God's intervention, he would pass
away. Praise the Lord!
Today he is much more spiritual than ever in his lifetime. Praying and
reading the Bible. He has good positive mind set and self attitude which is
very important in order to be well.
Two weeks ago we rented a swimming pool and had baptism service and
"swimming ministry" for the kids afterwards. It was just great!
Brother Igor has left for his third mission to Uzbekistan, Central Asia. He
asks your prayer support for his dangerous and difficult mission.
I also would like you to pray for our greatest material need- the church
building. We are in constant danger to loose our renting space because
majority of people consider any church except Russian Orthodox a cult. In
fact right now we have to look for another location for our church.
If anyone knows any organization or fund which can help in building project
in Russia please let me know.
Thank you very much.
Let me share with you a verse which is of great encouragement for us now:
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be
content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee.
God bless you!
Your brother in Christ,
Andrew
