My father was suddenly operated this year in the very beginning of January. Doctors found the last stage of cancer in his intestines. They took the cancer away but after the operation my father had a vast abdomen inflammation (abscess) and resulting hole in his stomach. So all the food he took went directly to his abdomen.After this fistula appeared doctors said that he is completely hopeless.
We prayed and prayed and I want to testify God's great power- God closed this hole. The doctors said afterwards that this was the first case in the last 30 years of the big hospital in Moscow when somebody stay alive after such an illness. Praise God!
My father is back to work now and some major spiritual changes took place in his life. I want to tell you that this is not just because we prayed diligently but also because his heart wasn't right before the Lord and God gave him another chance to be saved.
I often ask people in our church- what are your main purposes in life, where are you aiming to? Well, can you ask this question yourself?
The plain answer can be found in Mt. 16:26
There is nothing like eternal life and all our possessions- homes, cars, things are nothing comparing to it, although too often we don't act according to this truth.
So my number one purpose is eternity, salvation of my soul. The goal number two is salvation of everybody else around me. See I believe that there is no anything more important than human's soul.
Let me share with you one testimony. From two different people I heard almost exactly the same story so I really believe that this is true testimony. One Christian lady lost her 6 year old daughter. Many years came by and this lady continued to grow in the Lord. One day she was on the bus when there was an accident. The bus fall down from the cliff and all the passengers died together with this lady. Soon after the soldiers showed up to help. This lady surprisingly saw a soldier who carried away her own body. She tried to help this soldier but suddenly her arm went right through him. She tried to address him but he didn't pay any attention to what she was saying. At that time a white angel appeared before her and took her to heaven. She met Jesus and He showed her some beauties of Heaven. Then beautiful women looked like an angel approached her saying "Don't you know who I am?" She said: "I don't know. I think you are an angel". Then this beautiful creature replied: " Do you remember young daughter you buried long ago? Yes. I am she. I am grown up now." See, children are growing in heaven. They embraced each other. Than Jesus told her- it's not time yet for you to stay here. You have to come back to the earth and finish my work for you there.
So a big angel took her and they started to move back. When they approached the boarder line between heaven and earth she saw thousands and thousands of souls passing the border. Some of them had white robes, others- black and dirty. Those with white clothes were lifted up to heaven others were directed to the black hole. Suddenly somebody took her by her elbow. She stopped and saw a women from her own city whom she had known for a long time. This women said - "I just died in the maternity home giving birth to my child and I am very afraid now because my life wasn't right and I have this dirty closing on me. Since you are coming back to earth would you please give me your white cloth. You won't need it on the earth anyway. She said: "Sure and tried to take this cloth off but soon she realized that it was impossible because the cloth was made of light coming from inside of her. Then they separated and she returned to earth and that other lady went to the black hole. Next thing she remember was extreme pain in all members of her body which was laying in the morgue. She screamed and somebody came and took her out of the place for dead bodies. After that experience she became much more committed to evangelism and when she met somebody she constantly had in mind the question- does this person have white clothes of God's righteousness or not. See, this is not a game - this is a matter of eternal life and eternal death.
With every head bowed and every eye closed I want to ask you- are you sure that your life is right before God? Are you sure that you have white robes of God's righteousness on you? Do you feel that God is reminding you of some area in your life where you entertain sin? If that's you- lift up your hand telling me that you want forgiveness, you want to be right before the Lord...
