EOH - Yew

The Yew (Taxus baccata) is associated with longevity and eternal life because it is one of the longest-living trees and can live for well over a thousand years. So it is associated with ancient wisdom, with ancestry, and with reincarnation, indicating continuity in the face of dramatic change. Yews are prominent in graveyards as a reminder that death should be regarded as an advisor rather than an enemy, that every change is a death of what has gone before, and that every death is a transition to a new beginning.
The Yew connects to the past and to things that may have been forgotten or ignored so that lessons they contain can now be learned and progress furthered as a result.
The Yew tree is associated with the Rune-Eoh which, like trunk and spine, is the central structure connecting roots to branches, feet and legs to head, Earth to Sky, death to rebirth.
