Droned and dancing
To an Irish tune, Worshipping the power Of the invisible Moon, Bagpipes sing a Funeral song, Knowing so well, We sing along. But it's all okay because, In the end, We'll all dance again With our good friends. In a line we dance Under the stars, Laughing and living, We know who we are. My Irish Grandma, at her Funeral played The Bagpipes just for me... Made me happy, Made me cry. She looked down just now At the dancing angels And played from atop the Live Oak tree. In a circle we sit, Clouds hide the stars. Crying and dying, We are who we are. Bagpipes sing a Joyous song, Knowing so well, We sing along. It's all okay because, In the end, We'll all dance again With our good friends. |
