Elizabeth Wakefield sat stunned with the phone in her right hand. Todd Wilikins had just called her and told her he stilled loved and needed her. After Ging-ung died they decided to stop seeing each other. Elizabeth was heartbroken, but she decided it was for the best. I need to go take a walk to clear my head, she thought. She grabbed her coat and walked out. The dark sky showed thousands of stars that dimily lite the night. Up ahead she saw Dana Upshaw. "Why hello Elizabeth, how are you"? " I'm fine Dana, how are you"? " I'm great,and Toms great too". "Thats lovely, where are you heading"? I was going to get my mail, where are you going?" "I guess I'm going to get my mail too". They walked side by side until they reached their mailboxes. They both got their mail, Dana grabbed something out of her pocket and set it on the counter. Then she pulled out a letter and stuck it into a box. She opened one of her letters. Elizabeth reconized the handwriting it was Tom's. Elizabeth st! udied Dana's face and saw tears enter her eyes, her face looked heartbroken. She put the letter back in the envelope . "Bye Elizabeth". She turned and fled quickly along the walkway. Elizabeth noticed that she left another envelope on the counter, she turned and was going to call Dana but she had already left. She picked up the letter and saw her name typed on it. She opened it and read. It was a letter from Tom saying he was so sorry for the way he treated her when she had confided in him about George. He said he still loved her. Her heart was doing cartwheels. She grabbed the envelope and ran out. She ran nonstop until she reached Tom's door. She knocked and knocked unpatintly,she heard a voice growl" Hold your horses, unless your here to give me a million dollars"! He yanked the door open so suddenly she fell on top of him." Whoa" he said " what the hack is your problem Liz-" He stopped halfway and saw that she had his letter in his hand. He looked back at her hopefully. "! Tom Dana tooked this letter before I ever saw it, But she left it on the counter, I just read". "Well"? "Tom I forgive you and I love you too"!They kissed passionatly." Do you meen it Liz"? " Are we back together"? She suddenly remembered Todd. " Tom, I have to think about it, Todd called me earlier and said he stilled loved me." " I have to think about this". He looked so sad.
