The Greek culture, though it has its roots in ancient Greece, has had a lot of influence from Turkey and other neighboring countries. When we refer to culture, we may talk about the museums, the architecture, the literature, the art, but we cannot forget the more simple, everyday things that characterize Greece and give it its unique color. Some of those things are the music, the dances, the costumes, the culinary art, the special traditions and the Greek Orthodox religion, which, as the name may imply, is a very strong cultural aspect of Greece.

A reason that has made the Greek nation feeling "lonely" is its unique alphabet that has been the same since ancient years and its also unique language.
