Frater Phoenix is a Professor of Cultural Anthropology who specilizes in the comparitive study of Western and Eastern Philsophical and Spiritual Traditions. He's done research studying Kundalini Yoga with a Sikh Community, and has recently returned from researching the belief systems, healing, and meditative practices of a Taiwanese Folk Taoist Sect. His key interest is to integrate philsophical and transpersonal anthropology into contemporary education and daily life. Along with his scholarly interests, Frater Phoenix is an avid dancer, martial artist, and yogi with a fond love of literature, the outdoors, good food, fine wine and travel.
His key interest with the glyph stems from his interest in fellow anthropologist Margaret Mead's intial experience, and his personal fondness for creative effort of human self transformation.
