The 1st version of this site has been published around this month after a few weeks effort. But later on, somewhere around the end of this month I lost everything of the site due to some technical problem of my server (I was so shock when I log on to the file manager finding it empty!!) and......it happened that my hard disk (that contains the copy of everything of the site) has been damaged and couldn't be detected, well in other words it's "paralyzed" (don't tell me to cure it with "Magic Heal", anyway if you find it works, do give me a call)..... I really have nothing to say on this kind of luck, suspecting that it may have something to do with my computer's "feng shui" or possibly the address of my site. And the funny thing is from the day I lost everything of the site feeling that I've wasted all my efforts, I kinda started cursing my luck.
Soon, I realised that by cursing my God damn F@&$%?$! luck won't return my efforts and so somewhere around the beginning of this month, I started recalling and redo the things that I had undergo when designing the previous version of this site. After spending a few days gathering all the materials needed, I finally managed to "resurrect" this site (not using "phoenix down" but using my mom's 16 color laptop) somewhere around the middle of this month. Then only on the 19th of this month, I managed to upload everything to a new address (well, although I didn't check out the "feng shui", I believe that 300 is a good number).
During these days after realising that some of the pages are taking quite a long time to load, I decided to make a smaller copy of almost all of the images to have them being loaded first on the pages. A guestbook has been setup and the index has been changed with the mail form and guestbook separated to another section of the index using a horizontal line. Besides that, the links section has been added. Also, I've modified most of the pages with javascripts like the manipulation of the status bar and the changes of images of the banner, welcome sign, enter sign, guestbook image and the mailbox image when the page is reloaded.
A page of FAQ on the pc version of the game has been added. Other than that, the preview section has also been added. Also the navigation frameset of the pages has been changed from a 2 set to a single set so it won't look crowded and from that also I am able to put the linkexchange banners on more pages. Some corrections have also been made during these days.
The video section has been found to be totally dead and so I've removed every links and link the page to a few FF7 video pages from other sites.
The Glacier Map section has also been changed and I've added more information on FF7 for PC. Other than that, two more world map have been added.
More places and battle scenes pics have been added to the picture gallery totalling the number of pictures in the gallery to 445 pictures. Also a wallpaper gallery has been put up, it's linked to the "others" section and also to the picture gallery. At this point, the number of files needed for this site has increased to over 400 and unfortunately, Fortunecity only allows up to 400 files in the account. So, I decided to move all my pages along with the images to a new address under Geocities leaving the main page under Fortunecity. (I'm really sick of uploading the files again and again at this point, I think I've uploaded the whole set of files for about 8 times....I wish the server is just next door my house)
The title for this site has been changed from "FF7 Site By Kelvin Lee" to "Zaphiroth's FF7 Site". This site has also joined a number of webrings and they are all listed in the webrings section.
Mistakes like broken images and missing images in the picture gallery have been "eradicated", also the title for the battle scenes gallery has been corrected.
My Accessory Page has been corrected, thanks to FFVII Domain.
The FF7 Mp3 Soundtrack section has been found totally dead, therefore I've relinked all of the music links. Please inform me if the links are not working. Thank you.
The code to unlock the huge materia in cid's rocket's guard system has been added to the hints section. (Thanks a lot Weed!!!!!)
It's been long I haven't add or change anything on this web site, but recently I got a nice wallpaper from a guest of this site and it's 1024x768 in size (It's shown below in thumbnail size, click it to see the actual size). It's really awesome and I suppose that this friend has taken much effort on designing this wallpaper. Much creativity is needed to produce such result and I really feel honoured of being asked by someone to post his/her great design on my web site. So today, I've posted this wallpaper under the wallpaper section and I wish to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have supported me all the way, thank you.
I have been informed by a few of my visitors (Thanks to them) about some broken links in the downloads section (ff7 theme, screen saver, and animated startup) and the new creatively designed image, and today I've managed to get them fixed. I'm really sorry for taking so long to correct them as I was really busy with other projects. Until now, I still haven't add anything new to this site since September... if there's something you couldn't find about FF7 from this site, please mail me to tell me what is it so that I can add them (if possible). Thank you for all of your support.
During these few days, I had added more images to the gallery especially the miscellaneous section. Also, the layout of the front page of this site has been changed.
