April 12, 1861 - Confederate forces open fire on Fort Sumter.
April 13, 1861 - Fort Sumter surrenders.
April 15, 1861 - Lincoln calls for 75,000, 90 day volunteers.
May 1861 - A.B. Wade enlists in the 9th Indiana Volunteer Infantry.
