The HCC International Club is the college's
group for people interested in the differences and similarities in the peoples of the world. It's for everyone connected with the
college, especially those who are interested in Geography, History, or Foreign Languages.
We go to concerts, shows, galleries, and other events that have at least a little bit of "foreignness" to them.
We try to raise awareness of other cultures on campus.
We help international students enrolled at HCC.

Preamble
In order that we may give students from differing backgrounds an opportunity to meet regularly and share their diversity, as well as to actively pursue more knowledge of other cultures from many different sources, we do hereby declare our mission and objectives.
Mission
The International Club shall be a flexible club involved in many international aspects: people, culture, food, business, and travel. Sometimes, the club will act as a forum for foreign students to voice their concerns while adjusting to life in the United States. The Club will be open to all Hagerstown Junior/Community College students.
Objectives
1) To promote foreign language learning.
2) To maintain a positive system of communication and understanding between foreign and domestic students.
3) To provide opportunities to gain greater knowledge and understanding of foreign countries and their cultures.
4) To promote Foreign Language Week.
