Casselman's dictionary, but each has some words that the
other does not.

Latin for Travelers
- Latina
pro viatoribus
- Handy if you expect to be traveling to a Latin-speaking
country. (Other languages have travelers' dictionaries,
so why not Latin?) Limited vocabulary includes Neo-Latin.
- Tempestas
- And, wherever you're traveling, you'll want to check the
weather. The praedictio, unfortunately, is in
English, but various weather maps and current conditions
are all in Latin.

- Jacques-Paul Migne (ed.), Patrologia
Latina (1st ed., 1844-1855).
- Surpassed in some cases by more recent scholarship, but
still very often used as the standard in citations of
patristic authors. Full text of all volumes of the Migne Patrologia
Latina, along with apparatus and indexes, now
available for searching or browsing online.
- Nottingham High School, Latin
Translations
- For fans of Neo-Latin, this page offers Christmas,
Hanukkah, and Elvis Presley songs. For the most part,
they "scan".
- James
J. O'Donnell
- O'Donnell is a classics professor at the University of
Pennsylvania. His page on Augustine is very highly
regarded, and includes the Latin of the Confessions.
A bit of digging will turn up more Latin texts from late
antiquity on O'Donnell's other pages, including Boethius,
Cassiodorus, Donatus the Grammarian, and Gregory the
Great. Also includes an online syllabus for medieval
Latin.
- Perseus Project: Latin
Texts
- This library of classical Latin texts is just starting
out. Quite a lot of Cicero and Plautus, not many texts by
other authors. Most also have English translations
available.
- Plautus, Casina
and Menaechmi.
- Comedies. At Perseus. The bad news is: no English
"trots" here. The good news is: both have
plenty of morphological links.
- Virgil, Aeneid
- At the Perseus Project. Defaults to the Latin text, with
morphological links. If you still cannot decipher the
Latin, even after consulting the morphological analysis
and the Lewis
and Short Latin Dictionary, two English versions are
also provided--one "poetic" and the other
somewhat more literal.
