Philosophy

How I wish I had delved into the area of philosophy years ago.

There is so much to learn and be excited about.

Taking time to look at, and to contemplate what
those thoughts have to offer, is so exciting.

However, all of that in hind-sight is 'normal' isn't it?.
(...Edward De Bono would be happy for me I'm sure.)

Some folk will do things better than others and, like any talent,
some are better at it than others.
I can't dance and I can't sing all that well.
Trying to is even difficult however, I can learn some things and
I get better with practice.

As I grew up, I thought I had to 'know everything'.
You ask me and I would know! I didn't of course,
but I tried very hard to 'show off' that I did.
A few years later, I was amazed when
I found that most of the kids my age thought the same.
I thought I was the only one who had difficulties with life.
Then, as I grew older and had some 'growing pains',
I again found it a suprise to find that in talking with others,
that they too were all having the same kind of thoughts and problems.
All of us trying to save one another from our dilema instead
of discussing things openly with each other.
It was so empowering to be able to talk about things
and to learn from each other the real 'important' facts of life.

No wonder Christ suggested that:
"...and the truth shall set you free..."
I found when reading Wayne W. Dyer's book:
'Wisdom of the Ages'.
a collection of thoughts that go back years.

It's a good read.(Try it.ISBN 0 7322 64510)

Read a few things about life and start asking the 'WHY' question.
See notes in the 'My Book' link. It's going to be all about individuality and
hopefully, it will offer a few thoughts which may help you enhance your own.

We can all learn from each other. (A great aspects of life.)
