There are some individuals who are nothing more than troublemakers for this and other Churches. From their action, lies and claims some appear to be suffering from some type of mental or emotional illness while others are just liars. These individuals claim to be christian clergy but rant & rave in such a way that shows how unstable they are and how unchristian they are.
Their attacks on this Church and the Metropolitan are based on 2 factors. One is that Bishop James is a friend to the Metropolitan and clergy of this Church. He has studied the history of this Church, the many claims to and many lines of Apostolic Succession that claim to trace back to this Church. He has documented the claimed lines, shows where the clergy were excommunicated but continued to act on their own or with others as well as the subconditional and re-ordinations & re-consecrations (contrary to the canons) and much more. Bishop James is the Presiding Bishop of The Continuing Episcopal Church and is not a member of the clergy of or head of The (canonically established) Holy Eastern Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church in North America (THEOCACNA) as some unstable individuals claim in an effort to make us appear uncanonical. The second factor behind such attacks are that these individuals claim to be us, claim our lines or claim other parts of this Church such as our Charter. Since we refute their claims they feel if they can discredit us their lies will win out. [Nov. 3, 2001]
