Today we had the first big snow of the 04-05 winter. Raven loved the snow and I got this pic of her after she played in it for a while. Here is a pic of our backyard in the snow.
Here are some pictures from our fall break trip ('04)to Chicago. We went to the Sears Tower on Friday. This was Evan's second trip to the top of the tallest building in the US, but he was only two or three last time. We also went to the Museum of Science and Industry. Evan really enjoyed the Space exploration part of the museum. He also got to experiment with colored light. Evan also got to walk through a model of a human heart
In the summer of 2004 we accidentally adopted a kitten We planned to give her away, but David insisted we keep her (I'm not making that up). Evan suggested we name her Rio after the album, Rush in Rio. Here's another pic of her.

Really old stuff alert:
On Friday after Thanksgiving (2002) while Nanna and Papa had Evan for a sleepover, David and I adopted Caroline.
She is Evan's birthday and Christmas present from us. She is a 4 month old Shepard mix. We think she has some Chow in her because of her bright purple tongue.
Evan and Caroline get along very well together!
Caroline is about 22 pound already so we expect she will get fairly large even though the Humane Society classified her as a "medium" sized dog.
They seem like a perfect pair! We also adopted a puppy named Raven in February of 2003.

Here are two new pics of Evan (and his cousins) at Halloween 2000. They went as Aladin, Jasmine, and Rajah the tiger (and Abu the monkey... Evan's stuffed animal). Evan was four in December 2000.
Then this fall(2000) we went to the Children's Museum with our cousins. There are a few random shots of that trip here and other random stuff, too.
