THE ACQUITTAL

Now come ye gentle ladies and gentle men

The fate of a President you must determine

If two-thirds vote him guilty, he must depart

So weigh these matters in your mind and heart,

Weigh five years' hunting of the President

And whether this will serve as precedent:

First file a civil suit then spring a trap

Cabals of lawyers act on women's chat

Expose, depose then videotape his words

Then dump on the Internet--unread!--Ken Starr's works

So plainly done to inflict political hurt.

Now hear the Senate's verdict on this agony:

Article One: Perjury - Not guilty!

Article Two: Obstruction of Justice - Not guilty!
