Still Shaking (J-2)

America, now modestly zipping up

As government is wagging its finger, “Shame!”

At skin-revealing garments and gross fame

And at radio-hosts whose format’s talking smut,

Fines at half a mill say, “I’ll crack your nut”

And so the media moneymen go lame

And we the people, “the market,” appear so tame

So willing to be moved at the drop of a cup,

But now George Bush is coming into light

Revealing to the nation what he stands

For: blocking the people’s constitutional rights,

November he’s subject to a show of hands

For democratic brakes on government’s might

Opposing Bush Administration bans.
