United round the world protestors marched
Against Iraqi war, which need not be,
And brinkmanship that strives illogically
To war to keep the rockets of war unarched,
Some millions paced the earth, in doing, charged
The politicians responsibility
To marshal words but marshal peaceably
Foregoing bullets, leaving bombs uncharged.
But those who’d war disregard the millions count:
Some say the marchers were not near the size
Or, even so, the timid never mount
The peak of victory, why compromise?
The politicians ask, “Do I feel lucky?”
Well do ya, can you survive a war Iraqi?
