Visit a Living Hospital Museum - experience what it was like to be a patient a Nurse or a Doctor in yesteryear, a unique experience for all ages and an eye opener that contrasts the medical technologies of the past with the onset of new medical technology. A caring world for all by the coast of the southern continent on the shore at Little Bay. 1881 to ?

The New Museum is now open to the public every SUNDAY AND MONDAY between the hours 2:00PM to 5:00PM and a very reasonable admission price for adults at $3 each. Concessions may apply. Children $1 but with the provision that they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The displays are extensive and our Volunteer Tour Guides will be in attendance at all times. The book "Nurses at Little Bay" by Maylean Cordia may be purchased in Hard bound 2nd edition for the excellent price of $25 it is a must for the full appreciation of the Historical significance of the Museum in its Historic Locality. the Museum is the front line of an extensive redevelopment to a housing precinct being undertaken by Landcom NSW and the other precincts are best appreciated by a stop at the museum to see the original plans of the area before undertaking an exploration of the site down to the National Nurses War Memorial Chapel ( also run by the PHHTNA) in its panoramic position above Little Bay beach. Plan your excursion to spend at least an hour at the Museum and the Volunteer guides will endeavour to help you. This service is a great advance on the explanations of Public Health Historical Information transmission to the people of this community and the Director is always keen to listen to any advice and offers of donations or any other related services to help promote the Nursing and Medically related professions to future generations.
