Maiden Moon QueenThere exist many individuals who deny the divine motherhood of the Virgin Mary. Such individuals do not realize it, but to claim that Mother Mary is not the Mother of God is the same as denying the divinity of Jesus Christ. Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ. But if She is not also the Mother of God, then Jesus Christ could not be God. Clearly, Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, the logos or Word of God incarnate. Therefore, the Virgin Mary is the Mother of God. Only an antichrist would deny this truth. Others deny the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Mother, claiming that this is not in the Holy Bible. However, these pseudo-Christians are completely disregarding Old Testament Prophecy.
After reading the above verses from the songs of Solomon, one cannot deny that the prophet was foretelling of the birth of a girl who would be immaculately clean of sin; She would be a fair and beautiful maiden. Yet, She would strike fear in the hearts of sinful souls. Many wonder how She could remain sinless for Her whole life. One must leave this to the theologians of the world to answer. One only knows that our Lord is in Her soul in an active sense, while He is in the souls of all His other children in a passive sense. The Blessed Mother was born without Original Sin upon Her soul. Mary is the Immaculate Conception. Another teaching of the Blessed Mother denied by many individuals is Her Assumption into heaven and Her Coronation as Queen of heaven. But again, there is a prophecy for this in the Holy Scriptures. It is found in the royal treatment given to king Solomon’s mother by king Solomon.
When His Holy Mother passed from this life, our Lord alighted from His throne in heaven to meet Her. Then with Her at His right side, they arose into heaven. Hence, the Blessed Mother sits at the right hand of Jesus Christ, the King. She reigns as His Queen, second only to our Lord. Another way of perceiving the magnificence and awe of the Virgin Mary is by comparing Her to the moon. The Sun’s light is often likened to that of Jesus Christ, and the light of the stars to that of the saints, but the light of the moon may be likened to the Blessed Mother’s light. Mother Mary is the second brightest light in the heavens. Still, another Catholic teaching that is denied by many is the motherhood of the Virgin Mary over all the children of God. However, this too is in the Holy Bible.
This is clear indication that Mother Mary, who gave birth to only one child and remained a virgin throughout Her life, is the mother of all those who would be followers of Jesus Christ. The prophecy of Simeon concerning the Blessed Virgin Mary is that the true intentions and desires of many souls would be revealed through Her.
This prophecy is fulfilled through the lack of respect shown to the Blessed Mother Mary by all the pseudo-Christians (both Catholic and non-Catholic Christian). By not showing Her any respect, these henchmen have been shown to be the wolves in sheep’s clothing that they are in reality. One can also see that this prophecy is fulfilled by those who do give Mother Mary the proper devotion that ought to be shown to Her as the Holy Virgin Mother of God. One could ask the pseudo-Christians what is so wrong with offering up a novena to the Mother of Perpetual Help or reciting the Holy Rosary. These are nothing more than a salute and petition to the Saint of saints, asking Her to pray for us sinners. What is so wrong with that? The pseudo-Christians ask their neighbors to offer up prayers for them, and they offer up their own profane and self-glorifying prayers. But these wolves in sheep’s clothing refuse to ask the Mother of God to pray for their sinful souls. Their lack of respect for the Virgin Mary has revealed the wickedness of their thoughts. Many unlearned Christians do not wish to refer to Mary as Co-redeemer. They believe that this is placing Her on an equal with Jesus Christ. Such a person is not opening his heart and soul to our Lord; he is not giving Jesus Christ all the love and praise that are due to Him. Only by accepting the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Co-redeemer is this possible. For as Mother of our Lord She is just that, the Co-redeemer. She is not considered as being in any way on a par with Jesus Christ, the one Mediator. She acts only in subordination to and union with our Lord; who alone is needed and is sufficient without Her. In fact, Her very ability to cooperate with our Lord throughout His life and at His death came entirely from and depended upon the sovereign efficacy of Her Son’s death on the cross. Hence, while Roman Catholic beliefs and teachings of the Virgin Mary glorify Her, they shed even more splendor on the limitless power of the death of Jesus Christ, and on His generosity as the Savior of mankind. The preceding is just some of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. There is much more that is not written here. This book has not even touched upon infant Baptism, Holy Orders, Anointing of the Sick, Confirmation, Marriage, the various religious orders and organizations within the Catholic Church, papal elections, fasting, penance, the veneration of saints and relics and many other church doctrines and policies. As for that which is written — Reconciliation and Holy Communion — this book only scratches the surface. The saints have written much more on each subject thus far covered. What is written here is just a summary of what they have written. But this much one should know — if one wants to follow God in total truth and honesty, then he needs to believe the teachings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. She is God’s church and She teaches His truth. This does not mean to say that one must be a Roman Catholic in order to get into heaven. It does not even mean to say that one must be a Christian in order to get into heaven. One need only believe in God and love his neighbor. But in order to achieve complete spiritual perfection one must believe in total theological truth as revealed by God; one must believe in the teachings of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. She is the instrument through which our Lord officially communicates with all His children. One can find many good bishops, priests, nuns and deacons within Her; they are true apologists of the Mother Church. These children of God will not hesitate to help one find truth. One should be warned that the henchmen who call themselves true Christians, but are only parasites, will ridicule truth with their silly, illogical and distorted lies. But one should caution a person not to ridicule another’s beliefs, for if an individual ridicules another’s faith or good works without actually disproving them, he only shows his own ignorance. If an individual’s beliefs and works are of men, then it will come to naught. But if one’s beliefs and good works are of Truth, then no one will be able to overthrow it. Those individuals who oppose truth are opposing our Lord (Act.5:38-39). Truth was never written for the benefit of the wicked individuals of this world. Nor was truth written for the benefit of the children of God. This is because the unbelievers do not want to be saved from their sins, and the children of God are already saved by their love for one another. It is the skeptics and lost sheep who need to be reached. They are the ones who are drowning in the henchmen’s lies and twisted teachings, while the pseudo-Christians play their games of greed. One should not forget Mt.7:7. If there is someone who does not know of those truths that Jesus Christ teaches, then he should ask our Lord or His Holy Mother Mary for help, praying diligently for guidance. Then if he seeks for the truth without prejudice of mind and with a humble and contrite heart, our Lord will not let him down. He will open a door to a world that millions of others have opened, the door to the world of truth, the land of God. One will see love where others see only hate, beauty where others see only disaster, life where others see only death. One will discover the same truths that thousands of others have discovered. He will find that not one of these children will disagree with the doctrines of faith of the Roman Catholic Church. How does one know that the faithful will believe the same truths? Because he who is of God will hear God’s word and adhere to it. The children of God will believe the word of God when they hear it. The pseudo-Christians will not believe it but will hate all truth (Jn.8:47). One has this from other verses of the gospel of St. John.
In one of his letters St. John spoke again of this oneness of belief among the faithful. He said that the children of God would know the word of God when they heard it, but the pseudo-Christians and the henchmen of the antichrist would not be able to understand it. The only thing that they can comprehend is their own selfishness and materialism.
One may better understand this if he compares the word of God to a magnet. A magnet will attract steel to itself; it will not attract lead or aluminum. The same may be said of our Lord and His word. Truth is like a magnet; it will draw the children of God to itself — all others scatter. |
