St. Paul also describes the great antichrist as coming disguised as a messenger of peace and an angel of justice.

John Lennon has certainly done this with all his talk about peace and love, while at the same time denouncing the exclusive divinity of Jesus Christ.

Although it is true that Lennon’s philosophy of love to all mankind would establish peace in this world, the love and peace that he offers the world is offered without God. It contains a dangerous trap: as long as he lives in this world. One would be wise not to listen to all his beliefs. A soul will not have peace in the world to come by following Lennon’s religious philosophy.

For his musical accomplishments and his efforts to promote world peace, John Lennon is to be admired, even praised. Indeed, in promoting world peace he did more for mankind than those individuals of the political kingdom (Daniel’s fourth beast, which is discussed later).

These latter individuals have done everything in their power to plunge the world into war, economic catastrophe, social unrest and political upheaval.

However, John Lennon, no matter what else may be said of him, did everything in his power to oppose the corruption of the political beast that is destroying this world. Several of his songs were dedicated to the promotion of world peace. He perceived all too clearly that only by following the law of love to one’s neighbor can there be peace in this world. This is what he believed and this is what he propagated through his life and his music.

John Lennon is the great antichrist, not because of his social, his economic or his political philosophy, nor because of his talents as a musician. Nor is he the great antichrist because of his efforts to establish peace on earth. He is the great antichrist because of his religious beliefs. He claimed to be more famous than Jesus Christ. He was against the teachings of Jesus Christ. Finally, he claimed to be God. Thus, he is an antichrist, for that is the definition of an antichrist. Nothing more nor less is implied.

Nor is there any implication here that John Lennon was predestined to damnation. No one has ever been predestined.

John Lennon was one of the most influential men of the second half of this century. Surely, he was one of the most influential musicians of his time. Elvis Presley, the king of Rock ‘n Roll, may have made it famous but John Lennon changed it. No one can deny this. Not only did he and the other former Beatles change the direction music was taking after the rise of Elvis Presley but they also helped change fads, fashions and life styles.

While it is true that many people changed their fads, fashions and life styles after Elvis Presley rose to fame, these changes were not nearly as drastic as those changes made after the Beatles became famous. Indeed, many people even altered their social, economic and political philosophies because they were influenced by the Beatles. In fact, the whole history of the world was changed drastically after the Beatles became famous and for the most part these changes were for the good.

Thus, there is no disgrace intended toward John Lennon or any of the former Beatles. Those who would interpret this as such have a misunderstanding of the term antichrist. It is a religious connotation that does nothing more than describe an individual’s religious beliefs. An antichrist is just an individual who is against the teachings of Jesus Christ. An antichrist is someone who is in mortal sin as defined by the Roman Catholic Church. That is all an antichrist is; nothing more nor less is implied.

Those who would imply that the term means something else are distorting the word of God. It says nothing of the individual’s other characteristics, qualities or abilities. For example, a person’s own neighbor could be an antichrist but this says nothing of that individual’s friendship qualities.

Naming the Beatles the great antichrist is the same as commenting on the leadership abilities of Adolf Hitler, Charles Manson, Jim Jones or David Koresh. Regardless of what else may be said of these individuals, they all had the ability to entice people to follow them. They were leaders. It is mankind’s misfortune that they were also evil individuals.

A similar thing may be said of the Beatles. Regardless of what else may be said of them, good or bad, together they are the great antichrist. They were leaders of the music kingdom. It is mankind’s misfortune that they do not believe in the exclusive divinity of Jesus Christ.

John Lennon perceived all to well that man is slowly destroying the earth. He also knew that man is not going to stop in these destructive efforts. However, he hoped that someday man would see and join him in establishing peace on earth, “so that the world could live as one.”

Although his message was broadcast in a thousand different languages all over the world, no one listened to him. He did not speak in parables or similes. Rather, he spoke openly and clearly. He only asked his fellow man “to give peace a chance.” But no one listened to him. Many even called him a fool and laughed at him.

But John Lennon was no fool for trying to establish peace on earth. If anything he was a very intelligent man and those who would deny this are the fools. John Lennon had all the qualities of a great man among the great men of this world. But he had no faith and his soul was dead. Hence, John Lennon may be likened to a fertile garden that has no seed. He is an empty garden and offers only Satan’s empty peace.

Bishop Fulton Sheen in his book Life of Christ has said that the tragedy in the life of Judas Iscariot was that it could very easily have been St. Judas if the apostle had a different faith. This is true and it is such a waste. The same may be said of John Lennon. The tragedy in the life of John Lennon is that it could very easily have been St. John Lennon if he had a different faith.

This beast represents capitalistic imperialism and the capitalistic beliefs that have prevailed in western cultures. It comes out of the earth for it is a materialistic, worldly kingdom. The two horns are symbolic for the the strength of capitalism: the principle of supply and demand.

It is like a lamb for capitalism itself is good. As mentioned previously, no government or governmental system is evil as long as it works for the good of the people. But the capitalism that prevails in the world today is an evil, ungodly economic system. Capitalism of today is governed by greed. The only concern and the only goal of large corporations today is to get as much money as possible from their customers. They make decisions based upon a balance sheet and totally ignore truth and justice.

Capitalism seeks to keep the children of God in complete economic slavery. It seeks to entice the children of God into caring for material possessions and investing in materialism, rather than caring for their souls. It induces those who follow after it to store up riches on earth and to neglect their spiritual growth.

But most importantly, capitalism offers a vain hope of great wealth for everyone, when such is obtainable only by the rare few. Thus, it offers nothing more than a deception to all who believe in it.

Capitalism speaks as a dragon because corporations, both large and small, use lies and distorted truths in order to advertise their products. There is no truth in advertising. Their advertising claims to care about their customer’s welfare, but that is a lie. Their products are packaged and sold in a manner that is disadvantageous to the consumer’s welfare. Their products do not accomplish what their advertising claims. Their products are made to “cease working” as soon as the warranty expires.

Corporations have huge public relations programs that advertise the alleged greatness of their products, but this is more false advertising. Their products are made with the cheapest of materials, with the shoddiest of craftsmanship, at the lowest possible wage to the employee and then sold at an excessive profit.

But one must caution all those who lie and offer cheap gimmickery in order to sell their products, that if one’s advertising is deceptive then it must be because the product is worthless.

Thus it seems that in light of man’s inclination for greed, the economic socialism proposed by Karl Marx (not Marxism-Leninism) is a better economic system.

The beast of capitalism executes all the power of the former beast because of the great influence it has all over the world. It is capitalism that helped the Beatles become famous, which is how it caused the whole world to adore the great antichrist.

Capitalistic nations teach truth and justice in order to convince other nations into believing that capitalism is a better economic system. This is how it has caused fire to come down out of heaven. But again they lie, for they do not inform these same nations of the pitfalls of capitalism.

The industrial magnates and corporate executive officers (CEOs) of the corporate economies have amassed huge fortunes, building numerous franchises and unyielding corporate conglomerate systems, forcing the small businessman into bankruptcy. Many of these CEOs have become more powerful than the various governments of the world.

These industrial “czars” use truth and justice as bait attached to a barbed hook to induce the governments into allowing their corporations to come into their states and countries to sell their products. Once there, these corporate tycoons and corporate magnates and CEOs take control of the governments by enticing — and bribing — the leaders of the governments into making laws that are beneficial to their own economic goals without thought nor care of the needs of the people.

This prevents the governmental leaders of these states and countries from turning to a more justified social-economic-political system where the people have more control of their own governments.

Capitalism has seduced them that dwell on the earth by supposedly protecting the nations of the world from the aggression of anti-god Communism. True it has done this, but in doing so, it has drained these same nations of their valuable natural resources. It has corrupted their governments. It has oppressed the poor of these nations, without thought nor care for the needs of the rest of the world.

Capitalistic imperialism of today is devouring and destroying the world by building enormous conglomerate franchise systems and forcing the small businessman into bankruptcy. It offers worthless novelties, tawdry gadgets and impractical trinkets, coupled with deceptive advertising and a vain hope in order to entice the consumer into believing in the superiority of a capitalistic economic system.

In this way, the luxury that capitalism of today offers the world is an empty promise. It offers only Satan’s empty peace. It offers great wealth to all, but leaves in its wake only pollution and exploitation, corruption and mismanagement, greed and subjugation.

The images that capitalism made of the Beatles are the new styles in fads and in fashions that became popular after they became famous. These styles changed the face and the character of the whole world. Thus, the image comes to life and speaks.

Any musician or music group that did not change to the type of music and life styles that the Beatles began to play and exhibit soon lost their popularity. Thus, they are slain by the beast of capitalism.

This does not imply that the life styles, fads and fashions exhibited by the Beatles are evil. Nor is all their music evil. One must not forget that God “created” this world and everything in it and He did not create evil. Just because the henchmen of the devil use an artifact of this world for their own advantage is no reason for the children of God not to use the same artifact for the greater glory of Jesus Christ. Hence, there is nothing evil in the life styles or music of the Beatles.

The mark that the beast of capitalism placed on everybody is symbolic for a person’s own social security number. Many people have their social security number memorized. Hence, they have it on their foreheads. However, others do not know their number and must keep it written down so that they will not lose it. Hence, they have it written on their hand. Everyone must have a social security number, even small children.

A person must have a social security number in order to obtain an honest, decent job or to go to school. A person must have a social security number in order to open a bank account or obtain credit. A person must have a social security number just to pay taxes, get a passport or even obtain a driver’s license. A person must have a social security number for just about anything they want to do. Thus, the beast does not allow anyone to buy or sell without a social security number.

One should note that there is no sin in having a social security number. For Caesar cannot make laws which bind one’s soul, and it is not a sin to violate the man-made laws of government. (However, one must answer to one’s government for violating the laws of one’s government and to God for violating the laws of God.)

Nor is the crime of social security necessarily the insurance it supposedly offers a person. Rather, the crime of the social security system is in the fact that a person must pay into it regardless of what they believe about it. Whether or not they can afford social security. Whether or not they even want it. Even small children, who do not need it, must pay social security taxes. This amounts to legalized theft from the citizens by the government.

Also, the system allegedly offers social security to a person in their retirement years. However, it is an empty promise that it offers. Those who die before retirement never receive any benefits. Meanwhile, their heirs, if they have any, receive only a small portion of what is rightfully due to them. Sometimes their heirs do not receive anything.

As for all those who must rely solely upon social security, they are kept at or near the poverty level. This is especially true of the elderly, who need it most. Many of these people are unable to work and they have higher medical expenses. This compounds their poverty and social security offers little to no help in this area. Of those who can work, they cannot earn too much or their social security benefits are reduced — more theft from the children of God.

This is to say nothing of the fact that the social security system is gradually going bankrupt. Many of those who are paying for it now will have little to no benefits when they reach retirement age. They are paying for something that they may never receive. They are paying for an empty promise.

Because social security is mandatory, this amounts to a deception of the citizens by the government. Only Satan and his henchmen would offer such a deception. Thus, social security has become a mark of the beast.

There are six beasts. The seven headed leopard-like antichrist beast (Rev. 13:1-2). The two horned lamb-like beast (Rev.13:11). The beast that is like a lioness (Dan.7:4). The bear-like beast (Dan.7:5). The four headed leopard-like beast (Dan.7:6). The ten horned terrible political beast (Dan.7:7-8). These six beasts together make up one beast, which is the great red dragon (Rev.12:3).

The number 666 represents contradiction, imperfection and sin, for Satan falls short of 777, which is symbolic for unity, perfection and holiness.

None of these beasts are united in their efforts to fight God; they work alone and against each other. Hence, the contradiction. None of their efforts succeed; they each fall short of their goal. Hence, the imperfection. Finally, the beasts are full of hate for truth and justice; they have no love in their souls. Hence, the sin.

The mark of the beast is the upside broken cross. It was propagated in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a sign of peace. But it offers a peace without God. It is Satan’s empty peace; it offers an empty peace. Therefore, it is a sign of false peace. It is an antichrist sign.
