My Favorite Ballparks

Visiting Minor League Ballparks is one of my hobbies.  After my hometown got a new ballpark in 1999, I started visiting a few others, and I enjoyed it so much that I've been doing it ever since.  I've been to over 40 of them, and I've even devoted a whole website to the endeavor.   Here are a few of my favorites:

Blair County Ballpark (Altoona, PA)

This is the one that got me started

Durham Athletic Park (Durham, NC)

The movie "Bull Durham" was shot here.  By the time I saw a game there, it was no longer
hosting professional ball, but the college game I saw here was still a treat!

PNC Park (Pittsburgh, PA)

By far, my favorite major league ballpark (that I've been to)

First Energy Stadium (Reading, PA)

A classic old park with some modern twists - a great place to see baseball
