I don't like to talk much about myself so don't expect a long tirade.
For those who don't know me I was born in an enchanting
town-Varna, on the west coast of Black Sea, in a small, unknown country
Bulgaria ( above Turkey on the map). I graduated from First Language School
in my hometown, and here I am four months later in the middle of nowhere,
or how the Europians love to call it-In the land of the great opportunities.
Now I wonder who the fu!@# made me come here! Anyway it is not so bad just
a little boring, because Concord College is situated in the town, or better
in the village Athens with population of 1200 people. There is only one
shop, no bars or any other entertainment places, except the videostore
which works from 6:00pm till 9:00pm. Thankfully there are several Bulgarians
with cars, who take us (the poor freshmen) to the nearest sities, where
we can feel the American teenage life (actually it is quite a daring definition).
From the very first moment you enter a disco a brainless bodyguard stamps
you with the sign underaged and kills your anxiety for making fun. The
strongest beverage you can drink is a Coke (if you count the caffeine).
So you have no other option, but to put up with it and wait to become 21.
I remember a thought told me by an American friend: " If we can die
for the country at 18 why can't we drink for it". Despite this iniquity
I think it's pointless to say that everybody founds a way to buy liquor
and get drunk, and I mean really drunk or at least till the level
of alcohol in the blood is hardly to be measured. Then, often cops come,
and it wouldn't be such a big deal
if they don't bring with them an ambulance and the firing squad, as if
a drunk person is so dangerous that he can kill somebody and burn the place.
It is a really funny scene to watch.
Anyway the meaning of this page was to provide personal information about
me so here are some facts. I love black music, soccer, sport carts and
Bulgarian girls (especially one). I cannot stand country music, mean professors,
and the food at the cafeteria. That's all for now. Check regularly because
I may decide to update it!
