Objective: Players try to capture as many playing pieces as possible |

Materials: A playing Board (Shown Left) and 36 Playing Pieces |

Begin Play: Place the 36 pieces into the 12 pits (3 in each pit). Then choose who will go first. The pits to the left of the opponent is that player's pits. |

To Play: The player going first chooses a pit and takes the pieces from that pit and begins to SOW the pieces, placing one in each pit around the board, counterclockwise, including in her own KALAHA. Play continues until the player lands in an empty pit. If the player last piece lands in their own Kalaha they get to go again. If the last piece lands in an emptly pit on the player's side of the board. They then capture the pieces in the opponent's opposite pit, and stores them in their Kalaha. |

Game Ends: The game is over when all six pits on one side of the board are empty. The player who has pieces in his/her pits then removes them and places them into his/her Kalaha. |

Winning: The winner is determined by counting the pieces. The player with the most pieces is determined the Winner. |
