"The poem must resist the intelligence almost
successfully."
~Wallace Stevens~
Broken
Rhythms, Broken Rhymesis the title of our début reading and the
anthology we launched there. It was held on a rather cold
and wet May Day 2000 at the Hart House Arbor Room .
Terence made his first (and probably last) attempt as MC;
the performance roster went as follows: the brilliant Mr.
Christorpher Brown, the debonaire Mr. David Ip Fun Chun,
the eco-friendly Ms. Marta Lewandowski, the dazzling
Jennifer Bronson,
the admittedly urbane Mr. Terence Go, the illustrious Ms.
Christine Murray, the stunning Ms. Adrienne Kitchin, and
the narcissistic Mr. Stuart Laidlaw.
A slew of thanks to all our supporters who
attended and helped to make the event a success.

Mr. Brown & Ms. Kitchin caught in a
curious 'tini conversation.

Siamese poets.
Christine makes a dedication
to her sis.
Terence's attempt at flyer design results in a gothic
nightmare. Whoops!
(Sorry people, I'll be less macabre
next time!)
