What is Evil?

Evil is very misunderstood. Evil is causing someone to move away from the Source. Evil is causing harm. Evil is treating creation without respect. Evil is not incarnate, it has no god, it is the consequences of wrong thinking and choices. Good can exist alone, but not evil as it is the perversion of good.

Evil is not in having sex as some claim, unless the person is harmed physically or emotionally by the act. Evil is not in taking drugs, unless the drug use dulls a person's mind and keeps them from advancing along the path of Wisdom. Evil is not in worshiping one god over another, for all gods are facets of the Source. It is evil to make someone believe or worship a god that they find abhorrent; just as it is evil to scorn someone else's path to the Source. If followed faithfully, all paths are valid. Evil is using magick for personal gain or to hurt another. Evil is hiding or distorting the truth to hurt another.
