One of the "laws of nature" is called a Law of Motion which states that
a force in motion remains in motion unless acted upon by a superior or
outside force. A law of nature was created by the Creator, so we can know
some things about Him by His creation.
God, and His Word, is THE superior force in the universe. A mere created
being cannot corrupt, thwart, or otherwise change what God has set in
motion. (Lucifer failed that eternal I.Q. Test long ago.) We human beings
can trust the Bible to be the pure Word of God. We can trust the Bible to
be what it says it is: The Word of God.
Mere human beings could not have "authored" the Bible. No more than that
my TV set can produce and initiate TV programs. A fulfilled prophecy
score
of 100% removes it from the list of literature authored by man.
It contains hundreds of precepts, principles, plumb-lines, and other
criteria, given to man to measure the values of his options. Thus, he can
have some vision about results of choices before he chooses. It is
commonly called WISDOM because it transcends man himself and his abilities.
Since man cannot invent Transcendent Criteria, we know the Standards in
the
Bible are not man-made. The Bible is God-made, and, its Prophetic
Accuracy
score is 100%.
Man, unlike the animals, does not have instinct for making decisions. He
needs criteria and standards for measuring. God has made that available
in
His Word, The BIBLE. While man can make some criteria, he cannot invent a
standard greater than himself. Only God has furnished that: Himself and
His Word. They are the only Transcendent Criteria known. Man-made? Not
possible.
I like the perceptive words of a great teacher of the Law and a Pharisee,
Gamaliel, when he said, "And so my advice is to leave these men alone. If
what they teach and do is merely on their own, it will soon be
overthrown.
But if it is of God, you will not be able to stop them, lest you find
your
selves fighting even against God."
A real Christian and a real Jew will not slander one another, for to do
so
is an act of disobedience and rebellion against God and His Commandments.
Our own words prove whether we love Him and are under allegiance to Him.
The Second Commandment is like unto the First. Disciplined troops obey
their Commander. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
It is time to put away childish things such as the glib and eloquent pap
of vanity and pride of knowledge. [Human knowledge: a fraction of the
universe.]
Ben Franklin said, "Experience keeps a dear school, but fools will learn
in no other." The line grows longer...and the days grow short.
Choose... TODAY! Behold: The Bridegroom cometh!
You can trust the Bible. READ it and USE it.
