The seven-branched CANDLESTICKS mentioned in Exodus 37 may have been designed with their pattern's inspiration coming from nature. Walker writes in her book ALL THE PLANTS OF THE BIBLE about the "inflorescence of the Judean sage", Salvia judaica.
