Christ's Intimacy

The Impetus of Spiritual Awakening is a Personal Relationship with the Savior, Jesus Christ. This Walk of Intimacy (in-to-me-see, me with Him & He with me) and faith with Him, In Him and of Him is the difference between religion and and truly knowing God ~ all the difference! Come walk with me in fellowship and communion.

Excuse the mess and my Mary mentality; I'm focusing on the blessing--I want to share it with you! From time to time you will find testimony, messages, writings from RNorm (my "Martha" *L and beloved husband) or myself.), related links and whatever the Spirits leading may be.
You may notice I like to move things around now and then; feel free to visit often. As the Spirit touches, if you would be so kind, I would love your thoughts on His goodness and/or prayer requests before you depart.

Luke 10:38-42 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

"Favor is Deceitful,

But A Woman that Feareth the Lord,
She shall be PRAISED"!

Meanwhile,

  Alone

Lord, will I always be alone?
will I be serving you on my own,
with no one beside me — no one to care?
Even in darkness, no one is there.

Everyday, I grow stronger, leaning on You,
empowered by each moment You bring me through.
And as I go on, I clearly can see
Your will, alone, is sufficient for me.

Whatever happens or tomorrow brings,
my heart inside truly does sing.
My walk with You has to me shown
never have I walked alone.		  
I Try

I try to make ends meet sun up to sun down;
try to figure life out — to know what I can depend on.
Every day seems just the same and
yet, at each one's end
uncertainty awaits — an old lost friend.
Am I running away or merely running to?
Is there any learning from all that I've been through?

Standards and directions are very obscure;
Of my sense of values, I am decidedly unsure.
Where to go? What to do?
Of these probes, I cannot say.
Without the light from above
I would go astray.
But when I tune in to His predestined will,
the ever present fogginess cannot linger still.

I'll go to the Father and before Him fall and pray.
The confusion that has found me
will then just fade away.
And if I stay there with Him,
even with me He will be
to guide each step I take for an eternity.		   My Prayer

Jesus, hear my prayer.
Go before me everywhere.
In my comings and my goings, oh Lord
please be there.
Life me up and carry me through;
Let them see my love for You.
Jesus care for me —
this I ask you prayerfully.

Jesus, guide my way.
Help me make it day to day.
And my speaking, even my thinking, oh Lord
please array.
With the Word to give me fire
let me witness never tire.
Jesus, lead me on and as I go, Lord,
come along.
  The Voice

I have heard a little voice
Have you heard it too?
Still, quiet, it was — a peaceful voice,
so much like a dad's.

When it was that I was scared
or life's problems ever grew,
it was He, in gentle manner,
who all the answers had.

Have you heard this tiny voice?
a whisper, it could be.
Filled with peace, I cry "Abba Father."
Thank you Lord, my dad.		  
The Saints

The Saints are here for you you know,
to exhort you as you ever grow,
to support you all along the way
to be a comfort — sunshine's ray.

We are, you see, a gift from God,
to be shared with one another.
You have in us a family,
a sister and a brother.

Therefore, use this, your inheritance.
Do not shy; do not wince.
We just want to spread God's love to you,
no less than Christ our Lord would do.

Please do not stay away from us
to play near Satan's shore.
Rather let us help you ever ascend
the narrow road to Heaven's door. 		  Why We're Here

Ever Wonder why we're here,
what's ahead, for what to cheer?
Often I have wondered this:
questioned our existent bliss.
And though the answers were never clear,
this one thing did I hear —
Ups and downs, we have again,
never to know exact the end.
Should a blueprint have we now,
would we ever further plow?
But, alone it is not that we go;
a comforter have we come to know.
And through it all, we stand to gain
eternal presence in His domain.
Confrontation

The enemy is clamoring around,
trying hard to pull me down, rising
higher-to embalm me,
bury me beneath ground.
I struggle hard not to panic,
fearing an ever creeping nemesis,
sneering as he comes to jest
at my amusing, inevitable end.

Amour-sword and all-is dusty,
not soon thought to be in need.
Without adeptness now I wield them.
Without practice ungainly they are indeed.
But He that gave me all has never left my side
and as I gather Him about me,
He prepares me for the fight.
Long ago, He gave His life for me,
so I carry on the struggle.
For it was His very blood
that seals the ascendancy.

Everyone can see that the glorious power within must be from God and is not our own..
