I shouted it from the hilltops.

I could contain myself no longer.

Today I climbed the hill,
shouted with all my heart,
I LOVE YOU.

I understand that time will tell our future,
and that my deepest desires may never be fulfilled.

I know that you may not feel the same,
you cannot know what really beats within this heart,
what gives me happiness,
and plunges me into the depths of the darkest night.

But that is part of life's sweet and sometimes brutal mystery.

I feel so much better.

The declaration of my love lifted to the ears of those who listen.

May angels carry that word,
to you my dear love.

May you hear my deepest plea of love's request?

To love me in return,
no matter how small.
