Yes my dear,

My heart pounding, in my throat.


Reading every word and every line in between.


Funny, but I'm so excited to hear from you,
your muted words resound through my being like lightning.


I know I dream a dream like no other.


My expectations never to be realized,
my aching never to be fulfilled.


The dream is all I can cling to,
now and maybe forever.


But this dream is LIFE,
is passion unleashed and uninhibited.


I will wait now,
expectantly and with great anticipation,
for your next words.


However small,
no matter how short the message,
I skip quickly to the end of the lines,
searching for the words I so long to see...
