Night Love
Lie your head down my dear,
upon my chest that patiently waits.
Are those tears that I feel?
Then let them gently flow,
be they tears of sadness,
or those of joy,
let me kiss them from your cheeks,
and absorb them here within.
You've caressed my heart with love,
and my soul is filled with trust,
these moments to enjoy,
neath the stars that glow above.
Now your eyes boldly confirm,
what my passions dared to ask,
that love has bloomed midst all this silence,
no longer strangers of the past.
And on this night of mutual admission,
our eager lips now join.
There's a consuming fire to quench.
A realm of quiet passion to explore.
All else will fade away,
only you and I in heated embrace.
Tis the loving hours my dear,
the sweet calling of Night Love.
