6 Pork Chops
Celery salt
Garlic powder
3 tbs lemon juice
1/4 cup Brer Rabbit Molasses, mild flavor
Crushed Black Pepper
Trim bone and excess fat from the chops and place in a bowl.
(Tip. Make 2 to 3 cuts into the circular part of the chop about 1/2
to 1 inch in to prevent curling when cooking.)
Sprinkle evenly with Celery Salt, Garlic Powder, Pepper. Add lemon juice and Molasses. Mix together completely, covering all the chops
evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Note: the Garlic Powder is VERY potent.. easy does it!
Heat the grill to medium high, and coat the grating with Cooking oil
to prevent sticking. Place the chops on the grill and cook 6 minutes
on each side. Serve immediately.
