When My Eyes Lay Close
Every time I close my eyes and I lay in my bed
Thinking of everything going through my head
I see what I wish to look at through the light of the moon
Waiting for someone hopefully sometime soon
Looking forward to each guiding day
For someone to look at or even stay
Don’t ever know if what I want is what I find
But it will always be like this until I lose my mind
Hoping to come for one day soon
To love again under the moon
