Hi I'm Murf. I do a pagan radio music, interviews and fun, show on KZUM Community Radio in Lincoln,Nebraska. The Mess, as we call it, is on every Sunday form 10am to noon. I have been doing the show since 1994, before that it was called the Spiral Dance.The Dance started in 1988 puting good pagan/Goddess music out on Lincoln's airwaves. I am also guilty of tossing filk and foolishness into the shows mix. We try to have fun. The WE,I speak of, is my co-host Diz,(He has an offbeat sence of humor). Well so do I for that matter;-)

Well my friends Earth Raligion Awareness Day went beautifully. There were approx 80 pagans and our supporters at the state capitol Rotunda for the ritual 'Blessing Of The Crops'. i was at the park co-ordinating the set up for the fun stuff and the Bands. Fun stuff: bubble blowing(smallest 2 eldest--over 70.all blowing bubbles together. Making of air-hardening clay goddess figures. for all ages. This was my area when the music started. we had mothers and daughters and a grandmother and 2 dads all making their goddesses. what fun. Food for all as in PICNIC. great music. A PIPER!! an Autoharpest, a trio who had an unusual selection of insturments. Chello/base Sax/fiddle/guitars, the McNeallies. Then a great local and well known band, Jumping Kate and the Love Mafia (they ROCK). So we ate. Made Goddesses.played. Listened to great Bands. Ate. Talked, and enjoyed as close to a perfect day as we could ask for. .......I'm pooped!!!! (The Governor of Nebraska made a statement unfriendly to The Wiccan religion, or any religion he "personally doesn't believe in." We of the Earth Based Religions here in Nebraska hope that this was done from ignorance. As ignorance can be remedied. • I'MMM BAAAAAAAAACK!!(lol) oh and Heartland was so wonderful. So many lovely pagan people all together. The boom boxes were not bOOMING they were playing just loud enough to give each campsite music. no boom box wars here! I passed out over 70 tapes of The Mess to people. Just handed them out. Made sure to get some to each of the merchants, and many other folk besides. Talked music with Alexian of Earth Tone Studios, and pointed out music styles to interested shoppers,so they'd get what they liked. Met Fritz & Wren of The Witche's Voice...they are wonderful warm and friendly people..just like I thought and lots of fun to talk to. Got lots of music. LOTS of MUSIC. And the bands that played at Heartland were awesome. Finally got to hear Velvet Hammer, and pick up their music. Have you had a chance to hear Elvendrums? Or Bard Darragh and Cerridwen? also heard the energy filled Wiccabilly music of Loki E. Coyote (laughed so hard). and Uncle Dirtytoes. Great music made by all. And I brought a lot home. so here......
